How do we know it is fake/real?
Here's my problem with this coin. The coin looks legit and probably is, but the grading is my issue. Look at the website address and phone number. I've gone to both. If you google the actual website address, it does come up as ngcterms.com, but it the reroutes you to ngc.com/terms (which is what the website address for the terms on NGC.com SHOULD be). If you call the real number for NGC, you get the very sweet & softspoken girl's voice (a recording today since it's the 4th of July weekend) & you can leave a message. I'm VERY good at remembering voices and faces, and I recognize her voice from other interactions with NGC. BUT, if you call 888.NGC.1141 (the number on the supposed grading package), you get another woman with a very DISTINCTLY different voice. She does say almost the exact same thing, but at the end of the message, when she sends you to leave a message, it transfers you to the REAL girl's message, and then THAT message plays all the way through, and THEN and ONLY THEN, can you leave a message with NGC! I'm THOROUGHLY convinced that this is a FAKE GRADING SERVICE with FAKE PRICES placed on these coins, so that the ORIGINAL sellers can sell their coins for much higher prices with FAKED higher grading! Note that I'm not accusing THIS seller of being fake (if, down the road, someone reads this and this link to eBay is no longer functioning, the seller's name, as of now, is: saeng888 on Ebay.com). I'd really LOVE to buy this coin at this price! But I just don't think it's the genuine article. Please note that I do think it is a real 2012 Silver Proof Libertad PF 70 Ultra Cameo, of which only ONLY 4,200 silver proofs were minted of ANY weight that year! I just don't believe that this is the genuine grading! Look around. You can find 2012 Mexico Silver Libertad Proof 1 oz. - NGC PF70 Ultra Cameo's for less than HALF of the price listed here (again, in case this link disappears, it is currently listed for $298.00 US). IF ANYONE KNOWS THAT I AM WRONG ABOUT THIS AND CAN DEMONSTRATE IT FOR A FACT, I'M ALL EARS! BECAUSE, AS I JUST SAID, I'D LOOOOOVE TO OWN THIS PARTICULAR COIN, EVEN AT THIS PRICE!!! THANK YOU!
