I use minced garlic glass to do my buffalos. Is that ok?

I’m going with the baby food jar. As long as not from China. The last time heard their baby food record isn’t so good.

But I want to know how long a new member should soak a coin in acetone. A day, week or other

As long as you see fit. You can soak the coin indefinitely with no fear of damage to it.

I wonder if there's any advantage to rinsing a coin in acetone briefly. I'm thinking specifically about newly acquired coins before they go in a holder or 2x2, just giving them a swish in acetone, or maybe a very short dwell and a quick swish or rinse.

Mrs. Kennedy visiting Germany Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall, June of 63, and getting more "wow" attention than POTUS, put it on the map at Camp David. BUT, the Brandenburgs were already there. POTUS forgot...or more accurately didn't realize... that part.

The story in our family leaned more on local than global politics. :)

@Cheech9712, there were LOTS of Brandenburgs around the "road" in question at the time -- at least a dozen, I think, in five households. Three of Dad's siblings are still nearby. But, yeah, Brandenburg Gate in Germany is the high-profile namesake.

I repurpose these little jars for acetone soaking. Glass with a styrofoam-like seal protects the plastic lid. Leak proof and airtight.
