Until I noticed that NCI Construction was taking over half my pay for "taxes".  They drive around in nice new trucks today, that I helped pay for. Oh, and they wouldn't give me a W2 at years end, claiming I was "personal labor". The IRS was very interested when I told them, but looks like nothing was done.  In an assisted living center I worked for, (8.60/hr) the owner also rented housing he owned to the employees, taking rent from every check before those people ever saw a dime. Not sure how legal that is??? I agree that people are lazy and picky, but it doesn't help when crooks are in high positions and can just hire the next sucker to "work for me and get a paycheck, or get out"[/QUOTE]
