He probably blows all interviews by telling them about his UPS experience and how they pulled one over on him. As someone who did hiring in the past this is a big red flag, you in anyway trash on a former employer and victimize yourself and in my mind the interview is over you're not worth hiring. Many many hiring HR or managers follow the same protocol, we simply don't need people who take no responsibility working for our company. As I said in my former post there's a reason no place will hire him for a normal person eventually this realization is a slap in the face and a wake up call.

I truly used to feel bad for Detecto when seeing his posts and seeing how people responded to him. Key word is used too, after seeing enough of his posts he always acts as if he knows it all, asks advice but never heeds it, takes the victim stance always, and justifies his actions or inaction with innumerable excuses as to why it's not him; its everyone but him. I realize now that many members of this forum who Detecto probably thinks are out to get him are really trying the last resort most parents go to with their children, tough love. But trying to help and give advice doesn't work unfortunately until he experiences enough of this for himself it's basically like talking to a wall. I personally don't mean to offend or pick on him. But people offer advice, because we've been their we've had the experiences. He makes it seem as if older forum members had it any easier achieving things in life they don't understand his plight, when it's the reverse that is true. I'm only a decade older than Detecto, my brother is only five years older; I know how the economy is. However thinking your going to get some low paying job step one and then go on to accomplish all your others goals simply isn't going to work you'll end up nowhere. You'll never go beyond step one and never move beyond that low paying job. It's good you have a plan but you really need to either enroll in school or join the military. When you only have two options in front of you to move forward you pick one and go with it, not sit around waiting for the world to realize it owes you a favor because your never going to get that favor.
