According to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the inner disc of the coin&nbsp; is made of an aluminum-bronze alloy (92% copper, 6% aluminum, 2%&nbsp; nickel). Yet, people really dont care much about that. &#039;til now, year 2000 coins have been hammered and turned into rings since they have this gold-like features which is appealing. </p><p><br /></p><p>Is it possible that this year 2000-2001 coin soon will be rare?[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
