we haven't established its a 1943, so I stick with my dreamed up number.

I'm just saying it can't be 100 billion to 1 as there are only 1 billion coins
and 28 (or more) coppers. (In regards to the 1943 only.)
Of course the likelihood is almost zero.
But you never know. Things pop up all the time.

Jorje, Even if the date is 1943, there is not enough details to validate it as real and not a fake .
Here is my '43 copper cent fake from China ( $2.49 shpd) , but it doesn't have the die markers that indicates it is a real one ( because it isn't), and if I ground it down to look similar to yours, NO TPG would indicate it was real even if they agreed it said 1943 on it. Not worth grading, etc. at all

If you label it 1943, leave a note for your relatives who may someday inherit it. Jim

Go to the appropriate forum on Cointalk. Then click post new thread. But Meow is pretty sure you wont find a dated fungi forum. Maybe a gardening site?

Meow is a CRH Cat. And posts mainly in "error coins", or "coin roll hunting".

Yes, but since the date is so messed up it can't be determined that it actually is a 1943 that opens it up to the 26/(combined mintages of all of the copper wheat cents)
