I love Netherlands Pre-Euro coins! Here's a few pictures. Top 2 show a preview of my collection, with all denominations stacked. Last pic shows all my ziplocs filled with them. I have around 5000 coins from this country. I plan to buy more, of course at reasonable prices...







No old ones unfortunately. I'll have to work on that sometime.

 

But they are old! Roughly 15 years at least.

So far my oldest ones are 1948 25 Cents and 10 Cents. Also a few 1950's silver 1 Guldens that were accidentally in bulk ebay lots I purchased fairly cheap. (OOPS!! )

Nothing older than this though.

 

I guess been about 4 years now. But I had a very close friend who Teacher at a private school for all the children of UN officials. Over 38 years he had filled up box or desk draw with coins he found in his classroom. He was killed in a auto accident and his wife dumped all the coins in a box sent to me.
I wish it was that organizations was like the hoard above.
I did find a few coins that where collective but most where pocket change from home country I do not think any where silver. I lot of different Euro manly UN nation a of Canadian coins. But heavy item to mail I recall the usps person saying is this gold. I laughed said NO I don't know yet.
