    @Justin Lee I love your Larissa horse that's about to lie down! Very subtle.

    But if you say Horse, I say: Celts! The most beautifully artistic horses were made by Celtic celators. We saw already some from @panzerman and here are some more.

    Antedios, Iceni (Norfolk, Britain). A thin silver, hollow coin.

    Potin Senones, 80-50 BC. Obv. Head facing r. with 6 strands of hair. Rev. Horse l. with long whipping tail, two pellets in field. 20 mm, 3.57 gr. The Senones lived in the area around Sens. De La Tour 7417.

    Pictones (around Poitiers). Electrum stater 120-60 BC. Obv. Head of the god Ogmius. Rev. Rider on a human-faced horse. Under it, a hand. 20 mm, 6.23 gr. De La Tour 4395.

    Suessiones. Potin. Obv. Four leech-like forms. Rev. Elegant horse with ringlets. 20 mm, 5.17 gr. De La Tour 7673. A most beautiful foal with long legs and a large eye - basking in the sun.

    Iberia, Konterbia Karbika, AE unit (‘As’). After 133 BC. Obv. Head r., left a text, right an animal (dolphin?). Rev. Rider on a lively horse, text in exergue. 22.5 mm, 9.13 gr.

    Iberia, Castulo. AE unit. Early 2nd century BC. Obv. Diademed male head right. Little hand right. Rev. Sphinx standing right, raising forepaw, to right. Burgos 701 (or 544?). 30 mm, 14.69 gr.

    Eastern Celts. Pannonia. AE Tetradrachme, Kapostal type (Kaposvölgyi, Kapos river, 20 km north of Pécs in Hungary). Obv.: Head t.r. with granulated surface. Rev.: Horse and rider t.l. 21 mm, 8.95 gr.

    Eastern Celts, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. Third century BC. Early imitation of a Philip II tetradrachm of Amphipolis. Obv. Laureate head of Zeus t.r., behind it, a leaf. Rev. Jockey and horse riding t.r. Under it, labda over a bucranium. Under the prancing leg of the horse, an A. 24.5 mm, 13.85 gr.

    Eastern Celts, mint in the Central Carpathian region, Tetradrachm 2nd century BC. Scyphate. Obv. Vague Zeus head to the right, ‘Kinnlos’. Rev. Rider on a horse, ‘Entenschnabel’. 24 mm, 12.38 gr. Sergeev 70-71 (p. 36). Aninoasa-Dobresti type.
