I hope this can be worked out.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There is how I STARTED this mail and conversation. I feel the coin was ( as in post #57 ) worth $160 AS PICTURED. I DID pay close attention to what I saw and bid accordingly. I do not buy a sellers description, I use MY judgement as to the coins value. To receive the coin in person I was stunned and amazed. The coin is at best a slider/unc prooflike. I was very reasonable in my request to seller and basically was told to go take a hike, "I'll send you $30 check". Only at this point did I fly off the handle.</p><p> </p><p>I hope to clear up the ACTUAL way this happened. I accepted sellers ofer of $45 today because thats all I seem to get him to do. He will not be honest and admit that the pictures were misleading. I bid on what I saw, not on what I got.</p><p> </p><p>I believe the seller in his lack of experience meant well, as he probably was ripped off when he purchased this coin, and had to pass it along just to get out of a bad buy, and I was the sucker.</p><p> </p><p>Comments anyone? The coin in person does not have that early 80's S mint luster either.
