Hello, I tried to find info on these tokens online, but to no avail. If anyone has any idea please share. Thanks!
Sorry, don't know, but the text suggests they are from Italy. The "signature" could be TM. But I have not seen those before ... Christian
Thanks Christian! I searched the web even in italian language, but, nothing. They feel like real bimetal coins (edges are smooth) Regards Milan
Have you translated the legend? Google translate may help. Have you searched the exact phrase? Maybe no else cares about them enough to discuss them at any length on the internet. Please take no offence from that statement, but it's just a fact. Exonummismatic items are thinly collected and do not enjoy the same internet presence as circulated U.S. coins. If you Google what I collect you'll end up at CoinTalk in my album or forum posts.
None taken. It is only interest and good will of forum members I can count on and be grateful if I get any leads or oppinions. I just started a hobby and I dont know where the interest will take me, but I seem to be a magnet for tokens. I know the devil is in the detail and so I read many posts here and learn. Thanks!
Believe me I have tried:zodiac, astral, horoscope, natal signs, astronomy, etc. I have also tried search in italian, since I speak a little, but nothing. I found some sites that specialise in tokens on the way. Still nothing. Token is the size of 2 Eur coin and it has this blindfolded female(justice?), which is odd...
A big challenge with exonumia is there may be nothing online. I just browsed tokencatalog.com's Italian tokens with no luck. Poke around on this website: http://www.wbcc-online.com/new-releases/new-images2007oct.html It the Worldwide Bi-Metallic Coin Collectors Club. They may know something.
Possibly one of the Fates. Would make more sense since in astrology the stars are supposed to be guiding your destiny.
