Hi all, A good friend of mine who is a Bank Investor recently went on a business trip to Hong Kong and Singapore. I asked if he was able to bring me a few examples of their currency. He gave me these - Coins 10 Cents - Hong Kong - 1998 20 Cents - Hong Kong - 1993 1 Dollar - Hong Kong - 1998 2 Dollars - Hong Kong - 2012 5 Dollars - Hong Kong - 2012 50 Cents - Singapura (Singapore) - 2012 1 Dollar - Singapura (Singapore) - 2014 Plastic Currency 2 Dollars - Singapore - ND 5 Dollars - Singapore - ND 10 Dollars - Hong Kong - 2012 The 5 Dollars HK has a supper thick edge with lettering This is not a watermark, you can see through the currency like a small plastic window. All the currency has this feature. I'm assuming it is plastic currency.
@SteveInTampa or @mpcusa - Would you know what the Plastic Currency is actually made of and the term for the little window? Thanks
My daughter married a guy from Singapore. I started going through my coins and was able to put together two sets (except for one dollar coin) from what I had.
