few die chips on a circulated quarter, throw it in your save pile an use the airtite for something else...
I don't see anything other than die chips either, but your post motivated me to check out one of these Homestead quarters with a 10X glass. Before this design was released, I thought that it was really weak and didn't compare with other ATB designs, but the work is incredibly detailed and intricate. Not only the wood logs, but look at the business above them and the corn and the corns' leaves.
Nice find, plenty of die chips going on there. Certainly a saver. Philadelphia really used the heck out their dies on these and had very poor quality control, but Philly is known for this. Have yet to find a Denver error. Check inside the bottom windows for a possible doubled die error.
1/4 of what? Chris Yes, and some people have even used the term "have dollar". So, what is a "haven't dollar"? Chris
1/4 is one-fourth. When was the last time you heard someone call a quarter, "one-fourth of a dollar"? Chris
now y'all can say last time you heard 1/4 was today, I relate things work, you know (one quarter of an inch) I install gutters and roofing, And I'd like to see that 1972, please post pictures, and if you guys where putting together an error statehood and state parks set together for your eight year old daughter, you'd be excited also, and My daughter says y'all are just jealous
no double error, I'll post my Denver 1/4 tomorrow so you can see it although outs just a defective planchet crack running from letter to outside of banner ,I have 45 of the 50 states already, the parks are the hard ones
I'm assuming you are asking about the 1972 I mentioned? If not, sorry for the reply. Here is the thread: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1972-ddo.266684/
