They are all the same in that regard - NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG - and yes, even CAC has followed along the same path stickering coins as good for the grade when just a few it years ago it was good for the lower grade.</p><p><br /></p><p>The explanation is simple and blatantly obvious, and it has been since they started doing it in 2004 - loosen their grading standards and of course the coin will upgrade. And they, the TPGs, will claim the new grade is accurate.
