For authentication I believe ANACS leads the way. NCS is good too, but they are geared more towards restoration, or rather an industry approved cleaning. Their fees are higher too because of all the work they put into the coins. ANACS is the way to go.
There we go! Someone threw in what was missing to help decide who to send it to and since ANACS doesn't "conserve" coins you should do a tad bit before sending it in, that way the corrosion is stopped and won't continue getting worse in the slab. My suggest would be short-term electrolysis with baking soda water. I will do it to my New Jersey Cent I posted earlier, to show you the difference. I normally will remove gunk when a coin arrives but I've been too busy lately. I'll post it once it's done. Ribbit
