High price because of presumed higher grade

    He wants you to take all the risk while he takes the extra profit from something that may or may not happen.

    Yup. Don't you love this game? If it got an AU-58 would he say it's a MS-62? I'm sorry. I trust the TPG over that dealer.

    He was from the SF Bay Area, perhaps he needed more to make the transition happen.

    Or he may tell you that the TPG obviously overgraded it and offer a price based on what the coin actually grades.
