In general looking for the following grades (or approximate grades for uncertified pieces), but exceptions will be made if the toning is nice enough: If the coin or medal is from 1900 or later, MS67 or higher. If 1800-1899, MS66 or higher. If <1800, MS65 or higher. Medals certified with a grade of SP67 or higher do not need to be toned.
