Its funny I saw his post thought thailand and while I was typing you were posting thanks again for the contest. :thumb:
well I was not sure how you were playing the canada thing... new foundland is not canada but in the world coins book they are combined lol But I think I got it narrowed down now........one of those envelopes contain a coin from my mainland
Hey! How come when I posted only *8*minutes early before my 24 hour-cycle (and my iPad time said that I was *2* minutes late, so I was confused and thought that I could post my new answers!) you still didn't tell me if I even got them right or wrong!
Darn! That's what I guessed for earlier, but krispy didn't give it to me because I posted 8 minutes too early even though my iPad said that I was 2 minutes late. Oh well...
Because if I said there was a correct answer, it would have been very easy for others to swoop in and guess The Philippines. It would have been easy for someone to steal your guess that you missed by a few minutes. Likewise, if I said, "NO correct answers in this post." it might have misguided people to avoid guessing The Philippines if some contestants are playing by process of elimination from all prior guesses. I purposefully did not say if the answers were right or wrong in my reply. There are still three more envelopes left to try for.
But maybe my guess gave the idea to people that the Philippines are a possible idea given the fact that you did not say if I got them right or wrong. And yet for some odd reason you let brotheratom know that his were wrong even though his time was off by an hour! Unfair, and that's all I'm gonna say.
There's nothing unfair about this and this wouldn't be an issue if you minded CT time for posting instead of your devices clock. I purposefully put the time stamp in the rules to avoid problems of who guessed something first and to prevent editing posts once a guess goes up. Your post was early and it exposed a possibility that someone else could use to their advantage. There are still three more envelopes left to try for. You can review the entire thread for those nations that have been tried and in what combinations of lettered envelopes they were guessed to be inside. There may be other correct answers already guessed, but I indicated them to be wrong because they did not match the nation to the correct letter, so those nations can be guessed again with the remaining envelopes. And, there are countries who have coins, that have not even been guessed yet that you could try in your next guess. You have a good chance at your next guess to win something yet, especially since you are an earlier poster and many are now behind you again. Good luck!
