What I see is machine doubling.

The term you're thinking of is actually called DOUBLED DIE.

It’s doubled but it’s not the doubling you want on a coin. Only worth Silver melt.

 

Appears to be a worn die issue, or DDD, Die Deterioration Doubling. NAV, no added value doubling.
