They are making fun of your spelling in the title of your post. You used "here" instead of "hear".... ;)

Frank was merely correcting the spelling, not making fun of her. I was making fun of Frank!

If you wanted to sell these items, you wouldn't get too much since they are not scarce or rare, but someone who wanted a couple of coins you don't see every day might give you $0.50 for the nickel and $1.00 for the cent. About what you would pay on e-bay.

The Indian is quite impressive, too impressive. It must have been cleaned---no one hundred and eight year old coin could show that much wear without showing a normal patina. It also would be downgraded by the cleavage in the cheek. In contrast, the reverse not only looks more its age,and pass for very fine. Overall, it might be graded as good at eighty cents on the blue book.

I don't see anything special in the nickle. It could pass for very good. But then it would be worth face value.

I agree with swamp yankee, who was not as verbose as me.

Even if the coin got a reasonable patina in a couple of years the other comments would still be valid. The penny would not rate more than good.

I guess Kentucky agrees that the nickle is good pocket change.
