I have very big collection of Polish coins. About 140 different pcs. But I prefer an old Polish coins. Like these.
WOW, those are really sharp!! Maybe I will start a Polish collection after gaining a little more experience, and more money. Are these coins pictured really pricey? what years are they? My Dads side of the family was Polish though I don't really have any exposure to the culture. If I start a foreign coin collection it would definitely be these and would be a great way to learn the culture and history.
Hi, in fact, it is worth to collect Polish coins are not only nice but in the world of numismatics very well evaluated.
Thank you, sir. The first one is a gulden (30 groszy) 1663. Another name: "tympf". I got it 3 years ago for 30$ only. It's very cheap price for this coin. The second one is 3 groszy 1622. I got it 2 years ago for 33$. It's a normal price for such coin.
Gosh darn it, I'm barely started on US coins and now I want to start a polish collection!! I will have to resist the urge for now, but they are very attractive and look to be very affordable per an ebay search! I will have to find a book on them so I know what I am looking at! My wife also has a few modern euros from her trip to Prague.
