Yes, they produce vast quantities of products in large mintages, under tight budget and deadlines, dispatched to many eager and/or impatient customers, so statistically something may be less than perfect, but there seems to be too great a percentage of customers who repeatedly report problems such as these. </p><p><br /></p><p>While they&#039;ve raised the bar in being able to meet near consistent high standards in minting what the certification (TPG) services deem near perfect or perfect by industry trading standards, so too has the expectation of customers risen and come to consistently expect superior products delivered to them, free from such blatant flaws and QC concerns. </p><p><br /></p><p>It&#039;s only too bad that they don&#039;t stand behind their products and offer free return shipping when these issues are as legitimate as unclean planchets, blemished and scratched coins, especially on proof coins. Plenty of other companies manage to offset the prices of return shipping, even if it be worked into the price you pay for the merchandise, but as we know the Mint already reaps a bundle of profit from these sales.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
