Not meaning to derail the thread, but I've reread this sentence half a dozen times, and I still can't figure out what you were trying to say...?
Not slabbed probably because it was cleaned. Min grade is an option that I chose on the form hoping that they would slab it as a "genuine not gradeable coin" because i knew it had been cleaned. It has been designated "genuine not gradeable" but not slabbed. NGC will get the slab done with no issues.
pcgs is really dumb sometimes. ok ok most of the time. weird coincidence - I was told today, a coin I will be getting in few days has a railroad rim on it. whats so strange is that it is a Lincoln???? whaaaaa
yes they do. The op understands that those who were highly critical of the possibilities , now sit in awe and maybe even a bit zealous.
I'm very happy for you that it is not only a GENUINE 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar, but an elusive RAILROAD RIM! Congratulations! :thumb:
Im gonna keep it for quite awhile. I need a good golf marker. I'll trade it out one day though for something I can't live without. Funny coincidence that I live in Kennesaw, Ga known for a little choo-chop called the General. Be neat to donate it to an relevant organization of some sort. I've never thought to name a coin, but I'm calling this one The General!!!
