Looks like a 93-S to me. Rabbit ears, check. Die scratch in Liberty, check. How's the date? Slanted????

I bought it as a complete set out in a Dansco album. Very nice set. All coins check out.

    If that's a 93-S then it's a fake.

You might want to post some pics of the others in the Dansco...just to be safe...

So does anyone know of fake 93s Morgans that actually have the rabbit ears and the die scratches and the slanted date?

Why so? The odds alone or something more?

93's only came unc in a bag where they were mixed in with a 94s bag.
A customer of mine at the Santa Clara coin show dropped 150k for 10 unc 93S with all die characteristics, needless to say he's out 150k.
Majority of 93S are slabbed and especially in higher grades. It's like finding a ms-60 1794 silver dollar but also double struck.
    Most likely a fake.

I'd love to see a fake with all of the die characteristics found on the 93-S. What would you give this coin for a grade? Is it too nice?

Fair enough. What was the killer on the 10 coins he bought. I am sure they weighed right on so what gave them away?

Send the coin in to NGC or PCGS. If it's real, you'll get that gold mine. And if it's not .......... then those who suspect it is not, including me, will be right.

Either way, until that coin is authenticated - you've got nothing.
