Here Comes the Sun

    It's raining outside and we need some sun, I'll start with this 1869 bronze Uruguayan 2 Centesimo that I picked up yesterday. What grabbed my attention is the full mid day sun instead of the usual rising sun that you see on some of the Latin American coins. I would love to see what other collectors out there have with the sun theme. Please post your pieces.

    Maybe the full mid-day sun is symbolic of the summer solstice?
