Hey! I will give it a try, but the first thing I found is that the group leader was NARU'ed 3 years ago. That does not sound promising.

True... and they keep him as their group leader "in absentia". He was NARU'ed for using gestapo like tactics to eliminate questionable auctions, and apparently accused a few honest sellers of dealing in fakes (which neither they or eBay took lightly). I was a lurking member there a few years back, but there was a lot of paranoia among active members concerning those who did not post. They felt that non-posters were forgers in disguise, assimilating information to be used in the "improvement" of forgeries (I never bought into that); so they did a "sweep" of their membership, eliminating non-posters and any others they felt were not contributing. Membership dropped by thousands to around six hundred or so. By making the group private, they felt they could "choose and pick" members. Anyone can still join, but you need to send them a formal request.
