Henning nickel G6

1944 Jefferson nickel. No mint mark. Has the looped R. Also the die break from the top of the Monticello, through the e pluribus unum. Great job from the Grading Company on this one. That would be icg. mark

Since all Henning nickels were made to look like they were circulated, how can this be graded? Wouldn't all Hennings grade G6 or less. This could be an MS70, G6 Henning nickel (LOL).

 

I totally agree. That's kind of cool. I hope the Cherry Pickers guide actually lists this coin next year I heard rumors.

 

It specifically says " G6 " and 'Counterfeit' and that is reasonable with me. I assume the word Henning is in quotes because it would have been the header except it isn't really such a coin, just a hope and prayer that didn't come to life.
