HELP WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A PTOLEMAIC COIN...

This bronze or copper coin of about the same size of a US half dollar is quite puzzling... The obverse has a similar Isis-Cleopatra head type of the Ptolemaic coins, but I couldn't find any reference to this. The cardboard holder where this coin was placed had a little inscription that said "Roman Republic" but no additional information about that either.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks! :) IMG-7020.JPG IMG-7021.JPG

Thank you! :) No wonder why the edges look so perfect!
