Help with Uniface Lead Token - looks old

    I got this in a group lot of mixed items from a seller in the UK. it is about 21mm & 3.8g. Anyone recognize what it is?

    Thank you for the reply :) The only Temple tokens I know of are from India-- is that what you mean?

    Thanks! I will look into it. I was doing a little research on it today and leaning toward German / Saxon but I haven't been able to find anything quite like it.

    Thank you :) Can you or anyone give me anything further to go on? I haven't been able to find anything like it even using the Israel attribution.

    About what era do you think this is?

    Israel was founded in 1948, so what was there before Israel.

    There is a lot of very bad information in this thread. It is not in any way related to Israel or that area. And it has nothing to do with any temples. I have over 200 lead tokens in my collection, including pieces from what is today Israel. A

    Considering that the seller is located in the UK, and that the types are clearly copied from a silver penny in the name of Henry III, I think we can safely say the origin is British.
