I know , I just was thinking how silly that a dime hit the penny so hard naturally . I was thinking it was "HIT" with a dime and a "hammer" perhaps . This is what happens when two CT members have a heated discussion .
So, the reeded edge of another coin rolled along the edge of this penny with enough force to leave that impression. Is that what you're thinking?
