It is as if someone took the coin and milled the obverse out, leaving the rim entirely intact. For example, if I wanted to I could poor water into what&#039;s remaining of the obverse side of the coin and it would be contained by the rim. It is not copper colored.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>- the coin as is weighs 2 grams. I&#039;m not sure that is relevant since a large portion of the coin is milled out.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The idea that someone was trying to fabricate a &#039;new&#039; coin did not occur to me.
