    Nice gift. The coins appear to have been harshly cleaned, polished, or whizzed, so not premium examples by any means, but hey, the price was right as far as you're concerned, eh? ;)

    Just the melt (i.e., bullion) values of the silver pieces are as follows, per Coinflation:

    Dime = $1.20
    Quarter = $2.99
    Half = $5.98
    Dollars = $12.79 each

    That's as of this post, with silver at $16.53 per ounce.

    So you've got $35.75 worth - just of silver bullion - there, at a bare minimum. Add a little more for the cent and nickel and plastic case, and even though these are somewhat generic quality coins, that should add up to a bit more.

    It's a thoughtful gift, regardless. Hope your coworkers didn't pay too much. They probably did, but that's irrelevant.

    Nice coworkers you have! They must think a lot of you.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

    The all appear to be polished, so their value above melt is probably not much, but it's a nice little gesture. You do NOT owe them your first born son.
