Squiggly line Roosevelt looks like hair. (I put it under warm water to see if it was hair. I looked closer and the lines are below the coin)
Picture 1, the 2005D no idea. Picture 2, the 1999D, I think it might be that the die struck the feeder finger and left gouges on the die face. by the relief, the "heads" side is the anvil die, and the "tails side is what gets struck by the hammer die. if the timing is off and the feeder finger that places and ejects the coin gets hit by the hammer die it will leave gouges in the die face. I am not an expert or professional at this, so take it as a grain of salt. I can be wrong. Your pictures could be better and a bit more in focus with less light, Hard to make out exactly what's going on on either coin but I think this is feeder finger gouges on the die on the 1999D. First one, the 2005D might be struck through hair or thread, but need better pictures of that,,, it also could be circulation damage.
Your first dime just looks like PMD to me. The second coin could be feeder fingers (http://www.error-ref.com/die-scrapes/), or some other die damage. Let's get other opinions. @mikediamond, @paddyman98, @JCro57, @Fred Weinberg, others?
Thanks for all of the replies. Unfortanely the 1st dime was the best picture I had. I will try another Picture, tomorrow during sunlight.
Apologies for a side view picture. That's the only way my camera picks it up. Could that be glue holding on to make it look struck through? Soaked it in warm water for a good hr.
