Hey guys! I've been working on this for about an hour to no avail. Does anyone recognize this roman republic?
There are so many with that reverse. Having ROMA above the exergual line seems unusual. That's unfortunate in this coin's case because it makes the moneyer's name difficult to discern. Looks like C.P.L.R.O.-something but I'm not able to correlate that with a moneyer's name. If no one here can identify it, try posting it at Forvm. Andrew McCabe frequents that site and he's a Republican expert/specialist.
