I have an oportunity to purchase a 1995 W, 5-coin set from my LCS, the set looks great has everything with it, even the gold foil. I looked at each coin with a magnifing glass and from what I can see everything looks great. Im looking on E-Bay and completed listing have this selling fromm 5200-6900. What Im thinking is most sets on E-Bay probaly have been looked over and if the silver eagle wont grade these are the sets they are selling. I know for a fact this set was owned by an older gentleman and was never even looked at after it was bought. My question is I can purchase this for 6000-6200 cash. Lot of money, just alittle nervous doing it as Im not by any means even a decent coin grader. But I can see marks, milk spots, things like that and these coins have none. If I purchase them #1, Will they at least hold there value? And could I recoupe that money later? #2, If I were to send in for grading, is it worth my money and time. I realized what opions are like (yes, we all have 1). But I would like your thoughts on this, Thanks Jim
