Sorry... no coin... In fact, that is my question because I need your help. I am refereeing a journal article for another discipline entirely, but to make a point, the author alluded to the Ludi Saeculares coins of Augustus, 17 BCE.

The author says, "... coins were issued with the herald of the Ludi Saeculares (with a star on the herald’s shield) on one side, and Julius Caesar on the other." I cannot find anything like that on Wildwinds or CoinArchives. I found some that were partially supportive of the claim.

But nothing as described in the passage.

    Do you have any input?
    Thanks!

Thanks! I did not think to check CNG because I expected their sales to be on Wildwinds or CoinArchives.

That helps a lot. I went there and found eight. I need to check them against each other because likely two are the very same coin re-sold. Still, I appreciate your finding that for me.
