obverse.JPG reverse.JPG This well clipped penny has caused me much head scratching. Just when I think I've cracked it I'm back to square one again! Can anyone help to identify it? Thanks in advance.

    Fun coin!!!
Total medieval noob here, but just to give this a bump so some of the experts will see it, I'd say it reminds me of my Longshankes:

Welcome to the forum @clanger. If you could provide weight and diameter that would be very helpful. The condition of your coin makes identification hard, but there are a few details that can narrow down options. Based on the style of the visible letters it's Henry V, Henry VI, or Edward IV. It looks like the CI from CIVI is visible in the upper right of thecreverse, which would rule out Calais mint. I don't have my reference books at the moment, but I would start with those three kings.

Thank you for the welcome. Took me a while to get there, never used a forum before! Right, I've weighed the coin and it's 0.5grms, the diameter is 15mm's. Thanks for taking the time to help and reply. Still trying to find my way around the forum, I'll get there in the end, hopefully !
