Establish a relationship with a dealer or dealers that specialize in the type of coins your looking for.
There are plenty of good online dealers that you can use and work with. 90% of my upgrades to my large cent album are coins I crack out of slabs. Don't miss out on the coin that fits your set just because it is in a slab(no matter which tpg). I just cracked out a nice 1829 large cent to add to the album. I like the album better than the coins in the slab - none of my coins are high end, most are in VF to XF range.
Here is a trio of large cents from northeast that I cracked out. You can see the tools I use - snips, a screw driver(not the lighter) and a mountain dew. Also wear safety glasses - some of that plastic can shoot across the room. I find PCGS and ANACs are easier to crack out than NGC. The last two NGC were easy. Then also take the labels put them in an envelop and leave them in the album.
They already are wrapped in plastic. Mint sets come in plastic, single coins come in airtites! I know you meant graded, but I do not think that will ever happen.
