If the symbols are identical on silver and copper, both of them will belong to same series, empire, ruler and janapada.</p><p><br /></p><p>While browsing my books on this subject, I found another good book on Punchmarks written by P. Gregory Warden with title &quot;A Classification of the Symbols on Indian Silver Punch-marked coins&quot;.
