Justin Lee I learn by doing

Just picked up this little Larissa chalkous, ex BCD with tag, (my first ex BCD) and I'm curious what the back means... I assume it's referring to the purchase date and maybe an auction or amount?

    I read:
    T/ne ex Thess.,
    Jan. 88, 1500 d?.

    Anyone have any insights?
    TIA

Hmm. perhaps Tkalec, 1500 Deutsche mark?

Edit: Never mind, that wouldn't be correct because the exchange rate was ~0.6 DM to 1 USD.

Although it doesn't solve your mystery, you can browse many others ex BCD with their cryptic tags : here. There does seem to be a pattern, on round tags
    Source, Date, Price
    T/ne Oct. 1985, 12000 drs
    T/ne ex Thess., Feb. 87, 26500 drs
    T/ne Oct. 1985, 12000 drs

I believe "drs" is Greek Drachma, which in 1988 was at the exchange rate 150 drs = $1. So $10.
