    Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to the coin world, I apologize in advance if this post is not in the write forum. Anyhoo. I was going through some of my quarters and noticed a 1999 Connecticut quarter with and odd marking on Washington's face forehead area near his eye, and on the M in America there is an odd marking. The back of the coin in the Connecticut area looks like something is off about it but can't quiet put my finger on it. I'm not picture_2019_12_20_7_47_19_355.jpg picture_2019_12_20_8_26_59_791.jpg PicsArt_12-20-08.38.48.jpg PicsArt_12-20-08.40.59.jpg sure if these are anything or not like I said I am new to coins. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks

Both looks like post-mint damage to me. Likely was scraped along the ground, especially against asphalt. I've seen similar things happen to coins on the ground before.
