moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

can you post another clearer photo, and possibly 1 of the reverse.......because that is edward VII on the obverse and he died in 1910 and you say that the coin is dated 1945. what you have posted is a uk penny/ halfpenny/farthingand a clearer photo would make it far easier to identify

This coin belongs to a friend that posted on my facebook site and ask me to help. I will get him to send me better pic. soon. I agree with you that does look like edward VII. He said the coin is fron 1945, he could have made a mistake because he posted a bunch of coins at the same time.

Yea, that coin is definitely not from 1945.. It is a Great Britain Penny probably in the very early part of the 20th century. ie 1902-1911 or something like that.

if that coins is dated 1945 i will offer you around £500,000 for it, as it would be the error of all errors. but sadly in reality it is worth around 75p.

As it turns out I sent him a message and ask him to look again and it is dated 1907. However if your offer of 500,000 still stands Im sure he will take it. LOL

    Probably only worth
£1 to £12 GBP and 12 for very good circulated condition. Could be worth up to £55 GBP in absolute mint condition.
