HELP!! Original 1944 penny roll- TO OPEN OR NOT??

    Just a parting comment that has been shared many times by many folks on this forum. with respect to OBW rolls, etc...

    99.997% of them have been opened and looked through already... if "both" ends are not "t-i-g-h-t", then your probably looking at a roll that has been opened many times, searched, and then re-rolled.

    you'll have better odds of hitting a lottery ticket that pays 1k or more than buying an unsearched OBW roll in any venue (ebay, craigslist, estate sale, or any other auction venue.)

    That said, worthless moderns are exempt from this rule.
