coin has a reputation of asking how much something cost. Young kid that is very enthusiastic about numismatics, but can be a bit exuberant and forwards at times.
No problem - I think you got a very nice coin no matter the price. It looks sweet in the pictures and if it is the one I found on the web then the seller is a good guy also.
Beautiful pickup. I don't know what you gave for it, but if it is in the neighborhood of $1600, I think you did fine.
That's a beautiful coin , give him your best price and if he takes it you both win . If he doesn't there are plenty more beautiful coins out there .
Well, that is the problem with sight unseen but here is what Rick said about the mirrors and he does offer money back guarantee "A beautiful lavender-toned gem. Great mirrors and outstanding eye appeal."
I would really like to know what Charmy (The Penny Lady) thinks about this coin. I suggest you might PM her. Charmy's knowledge is so current and this coin is right in her area of interest and profession.
That coin looks more blue rather than lavender to me. It also looks familiar....as if I've seen the coin before somewhere. Tell me, did it get Rick's Eagle Eye sticker? What grade did the TPG assign to it? Which TPG graded it? Just curious...Mike
I would also ask Charmy what her cash purchase price for the coin would be...Mike p.s. Mike, please take a look at the revised questions above and address as you see fit.
PCGS felt it deserved a PF66 BN label. When I get the coin I will try to image it as close to in hand as possible to compare the colors.
