    Does this improve the value ?

    I agree.. It's a vise job. Another coin was pressed against it.

    Are y'all sure that's a vise job and not an overstrike?

    Edit- no, I see now. Some of the lettering on the fainter strike is backwards, and incuse.

    So yeah, apparently a vise job. Oh well.
