    It looks like a prutah of Judaea but I'm not sure it's authentic. I'll let others chime in.

    I have one just like it in front of me. Copy that was included in a batch of 10 lbs. of mixed foreign.

    I thought I would post the original context— or at least one original context— for this fake widow’s mite that tends to crop up pretty frequently. This is a mailer from about 10 years ago. The fake widow’s mite seems to have been sent along in this mailer designed to foster evangelical support for “The Jewish Voice” ministry.

    To be clear, mine is a simple objective description, not a political or religious statement. Let’s behave and not give moderators any reason to flag this thread.
