The letter &quot;K&quot; on the left, designating the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is part of the 3rd printing. If the 3rd printing was under-inked, the &quot;11&quot; numbers in black would be under-inked too. The portrait of Thomas Jefferson and the word &quot;TWO&quot; on the right are part of the 2nd printing (face). The face was printed some time before the 3rd printing on an entirely different machine. Since both are faded, this indicates to me that the inks were affected after it was printed.</p><p><br /></p><p>The other 1976 $2 is a minor misalignment error.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
