    Should clean up nicely....
    Demineralised water soak, brush with toothbrush.
    Change water every day.

    Thanks for the cleaning tip. I think that it worked a treat (over several days).
    (Quick question: Do you have to 'neutralize' the coin when using Lemon juice/Vinegar/Windex on 'silver' coins or will Dem. Water suffice?)

    LYDIA Sardes Ae c.133 B.C.
    Obv. Veiled and turreted bust of Tyche facing right,
    Rev. Zeus Lydios, standing left holding sceptre and eagle.
    Control monogram in left field and ΣΑΡΔΙΑΝΩΝ in right field.

    TIF Always learning.

    Sorry, TC-- I just saw your results post. Nice work!! Yes, I do recommend being cautious and neutralizing any remaining acid regardless of metal since we don't know the exact alloy for any given coin. Sodium bicarbonate dissolved in water should be fine.
