Help me with quality expectations

    US Mint quality control is horrible. My Kennedy "coins and chronicles" reverse proof coin has a dark spot in the field, and they wouldn't allow me to return it because I didn't open it and notice within the 30 day return window. I'm not expecting every coin to be PF70, but AU would be nice!

    Right on. Well, I hope they rediscover their "pride in quality" soon. It's our job I suppose, as consumers, to hold them accountable.

    In my case, their poor QC actually steered me to older coins - which I am enjoying even more.

    Just cracked open an authentic US Mint Rolls of Philadelphia Kennedy dollars...every coin in the roll looks like CRAP
