Cool. Post it under the world coins and/or ancients section.

A religious medal, perhaps sold by Zondervan or a similar company. No ancient coin ever had an inscription like that. Whether it might be gold (or gold-plated), I don't know, not out of the question.

I would think that the only value this would have would be the bullion value, if it is indeed gold, and I doubt that it is. Maybe I'm wrong though!

appears to be cast copy or fantasy piece and doesn't look like gold.

If it is a religious medal (it does not appear to be a COIN), then there is no such thing as an associated fantasy piece. Religious medals were investments of a sort, and there's many small examples struck in gold.

The date of 27 BC 14 AD is the rule of Caesar Augustus. It is probably a novelty piece of inexpensive jewelry, especially with the bezel mounted around it.

It's modern and likely contains no gold or silver. Take it to a local jeweler or coin dealer to look for a mark.

The pics make it hard to tell if the bezel is attached to the coin/medal. It looks as if it could be Gold. The guys over in world and ancient coins could give you a better idea of the inscription. When I check for magnetic I hang the item so that any magnetic pull is seen.
