    Need help identifying this coin. I can't find any information on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    This looks to be an imitation of an ancient coin. It does not appear to be authentic. If you try reposting this in the ancients section, someone may be able to give you more information.

    For now, looks like you have a counterfeit.

    It looks like you have a medal. I will ask my room mates dad to look at it for you because he is a expert on medals. My area of expertise is mainly rare proof gold.

    I agree with others above that it looks modern. I am certainly no expert though so that's JMHO

    I have also not seen anything quite like it. I would guess the subjects to be Athena facing right and Medusa/Gorgon facing. At first I thought maybe Sinope but I found no matches in the quick searches I did so I'm not even sure what it's attempting to immitate. Perhaps someone else will chime in and shed some light on what it could be.
